Aunt Helen used to call me Miss Dianie. When she was teaching over in Germany she would ask me to tape the animal shows on Discovery Channel so she could show them in class. Although she was a very opinionated person, her heart could be just as big. We both loved watching Court TV channel and Forensic Files. She loved to learn new things and I think I have gotten that thirst for knowledge from her. I loved her so very dearly and will miss her. When she went to California she gave me her British House Collection, which is now displayed in my entertainment center. Every time I look at them I think of her. I have asked God to put his loving arms around her to hug her for me and let her know how much she is loved. Although I will miss her dearly, I know she will be safe and happy with Uncle Tom, Grandmom, Grandpop and Mom. She was truly a unique person and I know I am a better person for knowing her.
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AUNT HELEN.
Miss Dianie

I always admired Helen for her memory. She remembered everything she read or saw. She always had a story to tell about where she visited. When she stayed with Mel and me 2 yrs ago while recuperating we watched Jeopardy every night and she always got the answers. Smart Lady. She is missed.

What can I say about my Aunt Helen? She was a woman who accomplished in her lifetime what many of us only dream about. From the exotic places she lived, to the interesting things she sent us I remember getting a bag of volcanic ash from Mt. St. Helen's when it erupted, as well as a piece of the Berlin Wall when it was torn down, she was a woman who made most, if not all, of her dreams come true.
I will always remember my beloved aunt, her generosity, and probably the most important thing she gave me: the desire to make my own dreams reality; that if I can conceive it, I can do it!

I will never forget the great July's we all shared when Helen and Tom would come home for their vacation month from the Navy. We always had a great time.
I remember when Marge and I flew down to Gimto and visited Helen and Tom on the base. What a vacation! They did everything to make us have a good time. I know when I think of Helen it's hard to not think of Tom as well. They were so much a team.
In the last few years, I was really glad to have her company in Wenonah. We drove to appointments together, went to see new homes, had lunch, and many other fun things. Helen helped me thru a lot of hard times. I will surely miss my homey.
