Obituary of Lawrence S. Keresty, Jr.

Lawrence S. Keresty, Jr., 78, of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. 

 

Legacy

A jolly and outgoing gentleman, Larry always had a smile on his face.  He was devoted to his family and cherished the time spent with them.  Family and friends have fond memories of Larry fishing, crabbing and boating.

 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Larry was a longtime resident of Mays Landing, NJ before moving to the Deptford Area.  He was a proud United States Army Veteran of the Korean War serving from 1962-1965 and a member of the American Legion Post 72 in Brooklawn.   

 

Family

Beloved husband of the late Mary Kay; loving father of Ernest, Lawrence III, Mark (Nancy), Stacy and Lawrence Keresty IV; cherished grandfather of 5; dear brother of Sandra Radlinger, Miriam (Pasquale) Mele, Karen (Frank) Travea, Gerald (Donna) Keresty and Christine (John) Jett.  Lawrence is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

 

Farewell Tribute

Memorial Ceremony will held at 11:00 AM on Saturday , Nov 2, 2019 in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery 240 South Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown, NJ 08094.
