Obituary of Donna Thomasson
Donna Thomasson(nee Singiser), 56, of Paulsboro, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019.
LEGACY:
Donna was an incredibly creative soul. Among her many talents, she enjoyed writing beautiful poetry and making original crafts. She was one with nature and saw beauty in everything, often stopping on the side of the road to gather wild flowers that she used to make works of art for friends and family. Donna found serenity in butterflies, believing it was a visit from loved ones above. Donna was so intelligent, and an avid reader. She taught her children to be strong and independent, but also compassionate and empathetic. On weekends she would spend her time taking her son, Robert, out adventuring at all of his favorite spots. She loved baking and cooking with all of her children around birthdays, holidays, and just because. She loved music and would often discuss the meaning behind the lyrics to great singer-songwriters, like Dylan. No matter where she went, she lit up the room. She was a quick-witted firecracker that kept everyone laughing. She was the last of the hippies, and will be forever missed by many.
FAMILY:
Donna is the wife of Tom Thomasson, dearly beloved mother to Jessica Brock (Barry), Jacquelyn Thomasson (Nolan Lea), and Robert Thomasson; sister to Jack Singiser (Vilma), Gladys Nay (Lou), Steve Singiser (Maureen), Joseph Singiser, and the late Robert Singiser. Daughter of the late Gladys and John Singiser. She will be forever in the hearts of her friends in family.
Farewell Tribute:
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street. Words of Remembrance will be held at the funeral home at 3:00PM. Interment will be private by the request of the family.
