Obituary of Elsie M. Phillips

Elsie M. Phillips born on October 18, 1948 in Camden, New Jersey passed away peacefully in her daughter Christine’s loving arms on October 16, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones.

 

Legacy

Elsie will be remembered most by her beautiful-unconditional loving heart.  By nature, Elsie was truly a loving and caring person who helped anyone and everyone, whether she knew them or not.  Of all the admirable traits of Elsie’s was her humble heart.  She never looked for recognition.  Elsie anonymously helped many throughout her life!

 

Elsie retired from Admints in Bellmawr, NJ in February 2019.  She was admired and respected by many for her dedication and hard work.

 

The loss of Elsie has left a void in those who knew and loved her dearly.  Her legacy and beautiful memories will live on through her family and friends.

 

Family

Elsie is the beloved wife of the late Bill Fleetwood; devoted mother of Patricia Briggs, Christine Murphy, Ron Murphy (son-in-law) and Tommy Church; loving grandmother to Ronald C. Murphy (Christine Rutter), Melissa Bruce (Ronald), Reagan Church, Jennifer Jackson, Corine Nowak and Chloe Briggs; cherished great-grandmother to Autumn and Brayden; loving sister to Becky Ward (Allen brother-in-law), Rose “Patsy” Phillips, (Robert Lafferty brother-in-law), Sandy Lemmo and (Ed brother-in-law).  Elsie is also survived by her nephews and nieces and a long time best friend, Dorothy Cogill and her fur-baby Emitt.

 

As per Elsie’s wishes, services are private.
