I just learned of Mr. McFadden's passing and was greatly saddened by the news. He was a gentle and caring individual who I know will be greatly missed. I not only worked for him at Glen Landing for many years, but I also knew him as a PTA parent at Blackwood Elementary back in the sixties.
I would like to express my very deepest sympathy to you, Ginny, and to your entire family.

Dear Mrs. McFadden,
We are so sorry for the unexpected loss of Mr. McFadden. While we only had the pleasure on meeting Mr. McFadden 5 or 6 times he always reminded me of my father in the best of ways. He seemed to me to have the best qualities of what a father could be and it obviously is reflected with his children.
I recently loss my father over Christmas and while it is no consolation to help with your pain, I can only say that in my heart there is no question that your husband is with you always. My mother has said daily how grateful she is to have her family and it has made us very close and many do not seem to understand to the depth of how much famiy means until you live thru this.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time

I have loved and respected a few in my life, surely Mr. McFadden is at the top of the list. He was my first boss and mentor. I will be forever grateful to him for the difference he made in my life because he believed in me even when I wasn't sure of myself. I loved him, laughed with him and Ginny and loved to hear him talk about his children. He made Glen Landing what it is today. The world lost a sweet, caring and wonderful human being. Some wonder if they have ever made a real difference in someone's life...I think he knew the profound effect he had in mine when God allowed our paths to cross. My heart will never forget him. Trudy Goode/Vernon Unfortunately my Aunt's funeral prevents me from being there with Ginny and his loving family.

Dad, it is with great sadness that we tell you good bye--for now. I told Jake and Nick that their Pop Pop will be their angel in heaven, and that you will take great joy in their accomplishments and happiness. It is so hard to explain your passing to the boys because it was just too soon for us all. None of us were ready to let you go, but we can take comfort in knowing that you lived a long and fun-filled life. Thank you for your love; your patience; and especially for raising such a wonderful son. He possesses your traits of loyalty, kindness, and commitment. You will never be far from our thoughts. I am sorry that I didn't get to tell you good bye before you left, but I will treasure the memories that we have shared. Watching you trick-or-treat with boys, sharing hoildays together, gambling under age, and the way you never liked how I made your Manhattans! You will truly be missed. I love you, Lee
