Mr. Young used to stop by our office every evening on his way to the mail box to say "Hello". He said to me once, "It's hard for me to believe that you go home at the end of a day, because you are such a part of our family at Cardinal Village and I'm jealous we have to share you with your family! He always made us smile, as I'm sure he did you as well. He will be surely missed. He gave my son a wheel barrow in which I plan to plant Mr. Young's favorite flowers, Shasta Daisies. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of his life.

We have known Elsie & Bill for just two years since Ted has been a dialysis patient in Sewell. We had many a conversation while he was waiting for Elsie and I was waiting for Ted. We both enjoyed seeing his woodworking skills and listening to his many stories of their travels. He liked to talk about his days as a teacher and Elsie as a school nurse. He also was so proud of his daughter & son and their spouses, plus the grandchildren. We surely do miss him as you all will. Give our love to Elsie as I no longer see her, as my husband has to travel by ambulance to dialysis and has a later schedule.

Our daughter, Tracey, went to heaven with a Santa Claus carved by Bill in her casket. He made it for her a month before she left us. I would like to think he is carving an angel for her now. Bill and Elsie were part of our Mon., Wed., Fri., club at dialysis. They are truly an example of love and kindness. We are richer for knowing "The Youngs."
