Dear Peggy, Bud became a dear friend to both of us. But, I especially remember him long before Anthony and I were married. Yesterday, I was remembering the time I turned 50 and you had decorated my office at IBM, with all those "Over the Hill" signs, UGH!! Then you and Bud took me to dinner that night and afterwards we went out and partied. What a fun time, as I got drunk...Bud just laughed along and had a good time. He always made me feel welcome in your home. When I came to California, our time together was so great, we talked about it, years later.
He and Anthony got along so well, how they loved to have their martini's together, we will both miss him very much.
I am glad we had our time together this January in Florida, as well as all the other years together. After Anthony came into my life, I was able to give back just a little of what the two of you gave to me.
Strange how life is, I first met Bud at your Mom's funeral, and now I will say goodbye to him at his on Wednesday.
God bless him, and you.
Love, Barbara and Anthony

My Deepest Sympathy to the loved one of "Bud" Bundens. I have many happy memories walking up to his gas station with my Pop-Pop McGuinness to buy a cold soda out of the cooler for ten cents. We all have fond memories of Mr. Bundens and why it is great to live in a small town. He surely knew what made a car run.
