We\\\'ve lived in Greenfield Heights for the past 10 years and always would see Hilda walking Cassie each day and would stop to chat. She was a lovely person and will be missed.

Jay and Family, I did not know your mother but I can see that she lived a full life. Still I\\\\\\\'m sure it is very difficult to lose a parent. We are keeping you in our prayers. bob miles

I have many fine memories of Mrs. Hamel and her husband, Mel.
I can remember seeing Mrs. Hamel in her store, The Capri Shop, in Woodbury and at the Woodbury Country Club.
I'll always remember Mrs. Hamel pulling into our parking lot to get my Mom for one of their famous luncheon dates. They were great friends.
And I always loved to hear her wonderful Australian accent. It was a joy to know her.
I know Mrs. Hamel and my Mom are having a great lunch in Heaven.

Our condolences to the Hamel family. Mrs. Hamel was a long-time friend of Don's mother, Thelma Budd, who passed away last month. We fondly remember Mrs. Hamel visiting us with mother when we lived in Germany.

Hilda was an avid bowler, our team captain. Twice, she led "The Blue Jays" to club championship. She could joke with us with "you can be replaced" when one of us didn't meet her expetations. Dedicated to her role as League Secretary, she had to relinquish the post earlier this term. She will be missed by all the women in the senior league, but especially by The Blue Jays; Val, Shirley and Maureen, and former team member, Joan. now living in California
