Hi
I do not know you, nor did I know your son. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. I recently loss my son at the age of 20, on Oct 28th of this year. I happened to be checking his guestbook and came across this. I know how you are truly feeling right now and I wanted you to know that someone out there feels your pain. I am not sure of the situation with your son but I can assure you he is out of pain and at peace. I know that doesnt do much right now but try to hold on to something, some kind of peace for yourselves and your family.
Take care and God Bless all of you

Fran and the Reader Family,
I am so truly sorry about your loss.
Mike was a man of class and a friend to many.
He seemed to take everything in stride for he had his faith.
He was my back door buddy in BHMS.
I miss him and always will.
No one can take his place, when it comes to class, enthusiasm and integrity.
Mike may you rest in peace as you hold hands with the Lord.
Keep an eye on Fran and lead her on to closure.

Michael,
I never thought that when I spoke with you on Wednesday, it would be the last time I would ever hear your voice. We've known each other since high school. When I heard the news, I thought of all the concerts and weddings we went to and all the great times we shared just hanging out. Though we drifted in and out of each other's lives, we never lost touch. I remember getting a phone call the night Ashley was born. You are the only person I know that knew exactly how many days until your birthday your favorite holiday, We met when we were kids and I watched you mature into a caring, gentle and responsible adult.
Words can not convey exactly how much I am going to miss you. I know that you are in a better place and are not suffering. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Mike,
You Gymbag! What did I tell you about Temple? It was too far away, can you please find a hospital a little more close to home? So you then transferred to the U of P. I remember saying " Thanks Gymbag, now this is a little better". Now, the next step is to get you out of here and get you home to Washington Twp. so don't ever, not for one moment, give up the fight. No matter how hard it gets at times, you have what it takes to handle it! Mike, you didn't give in. Your inherent, strong, trenacious character indeed, brought you back to Washington Twp. I thought, great, finally Mike's back home. Then I heard the news that you had left us! At first I was both devastated and shocked, couldn't believe what I was hearing. No way, not Mike! He fought entirely too hard to beat this problem. It was all too surreal to me! Then I realized, Mike did make it home. The home where he'll be forever. The same home where I will have the absolute Joy and Pleasure of seeing him again!
Mike, it's unfortunate for us, however, it's fortunate for you. I don't think any of us still left here will fully comprehend nor truly realize this until our common Father calls us to join you.
Mike, I look forward to that day! I look forward to the day that I can see you, hug you and be able to call you "Gymbag" again!
I LOVE YOU BUDDY!!!

Mike,
I'm very sorry to hear of your passing. Although we have lost touch over the years, I still reminisce about the times we shared together you, Ray and me, when we were just out of high school. The three of us had such great times together, playing softball and football, going to concerts and just being "wild" kids. I still remember the LS concert when Ray gave you the nickname "the Breeze". I remember when your first was born...how proud you were! You will be missed.

Mike was a very special person - the type of person who made you feel special when talking to him or working with him. His enthusiasm for teaching and coaching made you want to work harder to be a better teacher and coach. I was very lucky to know him and will miss him very much. He will continue to inspire me to be the best person I can. God bless his children, Fran, family, and friends.

I am having a hard time accepting the fact that Mike is no longer with us in body. I am, however, comforted by the belief that, although his earthly heart has given out, his spiritual heart is strong and beating with faith in the welcoming arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. This faith that he held onto, despite the earlhly suffering he endured, has no doubt earned him a special place in heaven, where he will never have to deal with hospitals, doctors, medicines, etc. again. I hope you, too, are comforted by these thoughts along with the knowledge that so many of those who knew Mike remember him fondly as a loving, caring man who always kept a positive attitude no matter the circumstances. God bless you all,

I promise to always keep you close in my heart. You have shown me how easy it is to love and to be loved, unconditionally. Our time together was much too short, but it was the best, most meaningful, and happiest time of my life. I thank you for that, and I thank God everyday for what we had.
I love you Sweetheart and will forever...Fran
