Dear Doris:
Words are inadequate to comfort you in this time of great loss. May the memories you and Jim shared together bring you comfort now and in the days ahead.
With Sincere Sympathy,

Dear Jim:
Today, you are in the hands of God. But for a very short time, I had the value of your friendship. I am happy, indeed, proud to call you ... a caring, principled, smart, generous, persistent and honorable man ... my friend. Through your persistence, you taught me, once again, that one man can make a difference and to me, that shall always be your legacy. I know that you were so very proud of having served your country. You did so, voluntarily, with proven courage and loyalty; first, as a combat soldier in WWII and then, as a sailor in combat during the Korean War. I know too, that you took pride in your Irish heritage and roots. So today, I will leave you with a traditional Irish Blessing. I give you these words in the absolute belief that no one deserves them more than James F. Keegan.
Jim, "May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and may the rain fall soft upon your fields. Until we meet again, may God continue to hold you in the hollow of His hand."
You are missed!
