Claire, Vicki and Chelsea: I haven't seen Fred in many years. In fact, my main memory is of early elementary school. Fred and I were in the same kindergarten class at Green-Fields in 1958-59 I'm pretty sure. Beyond that, I can't really remember if we were in other classes together; I know he moved to Woodbury at a fairly young age. But, what I definitely do remember is that Fred was a friendly, happy and funny friend to have during those early years. Claire has remained a good friend of my mother, Dorothy. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

To Amy and family
Thinking of you at your time of grief. May your fond memories guide you through this sad time.
There is a sacredness in tears.
They are not the mark of weakness,
but of power.
They speak more eloquently
than 10,000 tongues.
They are the messengers
of overwhelming grief,
of deep contrition,
and of unspeakable love.

Vicki and Chelsea and the entire family,
I am truly at a loss of words to say how sorry I am. Fred was one of the most courageous and kind men I have ever met. He was an example of what all of us should be like...kind, loving, strong and devoted. He will be missed but may his memory live on forever. God Bless all of you.
