Obituary of John J. Novack

NOVACK, John of Westville, NJ on July 23, 2006. Aged 83 years. John was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart twice. Prior to retirement, he worked as a machinist for NJ Wire & Stitching, Camden, NJ for over 40 years. John was served as a Deptford, NJ township committeeman for many years. He was devoted member of St. Anne's Church where he served as past president for the Men's Club. John was a member of the VFW Post #2174 Westville Grove, NJ . Friends and neighbors will remember him for his meticulously manicured lawn, garden and flowers around his home. John used to enjoy bowling; , but spending time with his family was what he loved the most. He is the beloved husband of the late Josephine E. nee Mattis, devoted father of Betty Jo Foley Charlie , Jack Novack Angela and Connie Novack Andy, dear brother of Theresa O'Leary, Regina Zadroga & Frances Caruso, loving grandfather of Stacia Matt, Chad Jill, Keith, Andy, Jr. Stacey & Kevin Heather and great grandfather of Emmaline & Hailey Rose. Viewing Wed 6:30-9 PM and Thus 8:30-9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ. Funeral Mass Thurs 10 AM in St. Anne RC Church, Westville, NJ.
