I'm so happy that I got to sing to you on your birthday. I'll never forget the mobile home in Sebring my mom and I stayed in. I remember you humming all the time. I don't even think it was anything to be humming, just as long as you were humming. Thank you so much for giving life to my mom and in turn giving life to me. Where are you going if you don't remember where you came from? I'm sure it's wonderful for you to see Uncle Steve, Aunt Cathy, and Great Mom Mom, but we miss you so much here. I hope that you have found peace with your departure and with the life you lead for 78 years.
I wish I could have spent more time with you while you were here, but I always say quality, not quantity. The memories I have of you making Liverworst sandwiches, sending Bell's gifts for Christmas, calling my mom Terr, whistling while sucking in instead of blowing out I never figured out how you did that, and humming, always humming will remain in my heart. I love you.

Mom,
I remember as a child coming home to the smell of fresh-baked cookies. I remember as a teenager going everywhere with you, the bank, church, shopping. Every Saturday night doing your hair so you and Dad could go out dancing how beautiful you always looked. I remember as a young woman coming to you for advise and guidance in love and marriage and finally as a Mother myself. I am blessed and fortunate to have had such a caring and compassionate Mother and when I look at my own children and am a witness to their compassionate and caring ways, I have you to thank. You have touched my life so profoundly and my love is endless. May God keep us all in His grace until we meet again.
Your loving daughter, Theresa

I regret not seeing you in the past years, but I'll never forget the memories I have of you when I was a child. You always had a great big hug for us followed by a bigger kiss. Thank you most of all for raising a good son, my dad, who has been a blessing to me as I try to raise my own children. God bless you Mommom, we'll miss you.
