Obituary of Visitacion Mangibin Tolentino

TOLENTINO, Visitacion Mangibin, M.D., of Turnersville, NJ, on June 29, 2006. Aged 86 years. Born in Burgos Ilocos Sur, Philippines, Vi/Tacion had achieved a Doctorate in Medicine from University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. Upon graduation, she had worked at the San Lazaro Hospital in Manila, Philippines. For over 10 years, Vi/Tacion was a Physician at Fairfield Hills Psychiatric Hospital in Fairfield Hills, CT before retiring in 1985. She had resided in Milford, CT, for many years before moving to Turnersville, NJ. Vi/Tacion also had a passion for writing and playing the piano. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading. She was an avid traveler. Vi/Tacion will be remembered as a strong, determined and independent woman, who was always striving to better herself and learn new things. Her family will remember the guidance she gave them to better their lives. Devoted mother of Ernesto Tolentino and Cristina Tolentino and her late daughter, Elizabeth Fontanilla, and her late sons, Benjamin Tolentino and Eduardo Tolentino. Loving grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Rosario Mangibin and the late Jose Mangibin. Beloved companion to her late dogs, Lady, PeeWee and Lilly.
