Sue and Clay,
We are nearing the first anniversary of Clay's passing and it seems to be just as fresh a loss now as it was then. Clay was such a great, strong, smart kid and his picture remains on our refridgerator where we can see his smiling face every day. We remember Clayton as a bright energetic kid and we all still miss him. You guys remain in our prayers, as does Clayton.

My sweetest memory of Clayton and I have many is when he would follow Sara home and run into our house. He would throw his arms around me in a bear hug and tell me that I was his girlfriend. He was only about 6 or 7 at the time, but he was, and always will be, my little boyfriend. Sue and Clay, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will hold Clayton's memory in our hearts forever. Liz Kittredge and family.

Mr and Mrs Koonce,
Clayton was such a nice friend. I know Clayton loved photography and he would show me some of the pictures that he would take and he would give me advice. Sorry for your lost.

Don?t think of him as gone away
His journey?s just begun
Life holds so many facets
This life is only one
Just think of him as resting
From the sorrows & the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days & years
Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away
And think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much

My earliest memory of Clay starts when we were in elementary school. Clay and I were in first grade and I wanted to play with him in the legos and he said no. So, I kept pulling legos out of the container and he backfired in them. They smelled for like 2 days.
I will always remember his smartallik attitude and the way he always made me smile and laugh.
With love,
Megan

Susie and Clay,
You guys are in my prayers and my heart. I know it must be very difficult right now. God has blessed all of us with the ability to have known such a wonderful person. Clayton certainly was a great person with such a big heart. He will be missed but his spirit still lives on.
I was driving in my car today when a certain memory came to my mind. I remember when Clayton and I were young and at a party. At this party, he chased me around the whole restaurant trying to kiss me. He said "I've always wanted to kiss an Irish girl."
He has been through so much. But now he doesn't have to fight anymore. He is in a better place now. And I know he will look down and be with you all the time. If you need anything I am here.
Love,
Nicole and George Sharp

Sue and Clay,
Bob and I will never forget Clayton. He has touched our hearts forever.
My favorite memory is of the two of them running around INSIDE my house shooting each other with water guns.
You should be very proud of him. He was a wonderful kid.
We are here for you two whenever you need us.
Remember Clay is only as far away as your memories.
So speak often about him, that will keep his spirit living for ever.
Look for those little signs he will be watching over the two of you. For this I know is true.
Love,
Barb

Clay and Sue,
It seems like only yesterday Clayton, Amanda and I were little kids, running around in your front yard. Clayton was my first guy friend and he was such a great one. We grew apart lately because we preferred different styles. Also, my family moving away from that neighborhood, but everyday I think of the memories I have with him. I?m thankful I had the chance to know Clayton and I will never forget him. I?m sorry for the loss of your angel.
Sincerely,
Brittany Williams.
