We had the chance to meet Theresa and her amazing family a few years back at a barbecue given by Keith and Karen Crow. I remember seeing how devoted and loving Diana was to her daughter and how she seemed to be such a sweet, cheerful person despite the horrible illness Theresa had. From them on, I prayed for Theresa and her family. Occasionally, I'd see Diana at church or around town and we'd catch up and talk. Diana always asked about my own boys and I hope I was able to give her a bit of comfort by telling her how hard I'd been praying for Theresa. Such a beautiful little girl. Such a beautiful family. It saddens me to know Theresa has been gone for nearly a year, but I suppose God had some reason for putting her here on this earth for a short time. Perhaps it was to draw all of us who knew her closer together and to enable us to pray more often. My thoughts still fall on the Roche family. I hope that they are comforted by God's graces and other blessings.

Mr. & Mrs. Roche,
Theresa's picture, along with the petition prayer to Blessed John XXII, has been hanging in my classroom for several years now.
I tell each class of your deep religious faith and share with them your story.
I don't know why, but something drew me to your site today. I am sad to learn of Theresa's passing.
Please know that your daughter and, in fact, your entire family has left a mark on me and the children I teach.
I will continue to keep Theresa's picture in the front of the room. Now we have a little angel to pray to and petition for help.
You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Diana, Mike, and family,
We just heard about precious Theresa's journey to God and are deeply saddened. What can one possibly say to ease such a pain?
For years you have prayed steadfastly and have 'stormed heaven' with the hope that a miracle might be obtained through the intercession of Pope John XXIII, yet perhaps the holy Pontiff knew too well that the best answer God could provide was not a miracle to preserve her natural life, but the grace of eternal life with Him.
You have lovingly held dear Theresa in your arms for these past five years; now she in in the arms of Jesus Christ, whose invitation, "let the little children come to me" has been accepted.
In the Risen Christ may you continue to find your hope and consolation.

Dear Diana & Michael,
I will always treasure our days together at WYD in my heart. I am so grateful to God for such a beautiful gift. It was a privelege to spend that time with you and your children. Theresa was a bright and beautiful girl. She taught us all how to suffer peacefully, with grace and dignity. She was a gift to you from God, and I am touched by how you welcomed her into your lives with deep faith and devotion. You gave your ALL for her as only a mother and father can, pouring your love into her and giving her a life filled with meaningful, joyful, and faith-filled experiences. Perhaps not all would have had the courage or the faith to do as you have done. I am sure Theresa is in heaven asking God to pour His abundant blessings down upon you, and to fill your hearts with peace. Certainly when you meet her again in Heaven you will hear the Father saying, "Well done, good and faithful servants. Receive the crown I have prepared for you from all eternity." Thank-you for sharing Therresa with all of us. She was truly a blessing. I will continue to pray for you. Prayerfully and with much love,

To the Family of Thersea Roche,
At this time there are no words that can may your life easier you miss your little lamb and that's that. I am very sorry that your precious little one has died. She was a blessing to everyone that met her and she caused many people to pray that may never have prayed in their lives!
Though you are feeling grief and separation right now some day you will be with Thersea again. Just knowing that she is in the arms of Jesus now and for eterenity. She is now free and walking and talking and skipping on the streets of gold. No longer is she confined to the little body that did not work as well as others. She surely was a blessing to all who knew her and loved her.
The Lord promised to be with us always in life and in death she wasn't alone she was holding Jesus' Hand when she left this old world. I am sure she is full of life and happiness in heaven right now. She knew how much people helped her and loved her and took great care of her daily. Love in action is taking care of His little ones and many have been blessed by her short life. She fulfilled her purpose in life and she has her heavenly reward.
May the Lord bless each one of you with His Peace that passes all our understanding and fill your broken hearts with His unconditional love and grace. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Nancy Lorup

Dear Diana and Michael,
May the dear Lord bless you both and draw you closer to each other and closer to Himself. No one can ease your pain and walk with you through this dark time like the Lord Jesus Christ. Let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts.
The love you had for Theresa has not gone unnoticed. Through her life and her death the Lord has been changing people's hearts and He will continue to do so. He uses ALL things for the good of those who love Him.
Love grows through trials. While you stayed by her side you nourished her soul. Surely Theresa knew how much you loved her. Good parents, like you, take time to pour themselves into their children. Theresa was unique. Her life revealed your true character, who you are in the darkest hours and most trying times. Though she could not express her love and appreciation I'm sure you knew in your spirit how she felt. Bonds form with such power that when they break, your heart hurts. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child you have poured such great love into. Stay strong. Don't let the pain of her absence steal the joy the Lord has given you. May the Lord richly bless you. Seek the Lord and let Him comfort you and hold you in His arms. May your family always be aware of the presence of the Almighty. Peace and love in Christ.

Dear Mike, Daina, and boys,
I was very saddened to hear the news of Theresa's passing. The first thing I did was cry but the next thing I did was ask for her intercession. I had some small troubles on my mind that night which kept me awake most of the night. Instinctively, just hours after her passing, I asked Theresa, "Please pray for me." This is how I think of her, as a prayer intercessor. It is how I hav always thought of her. Whenever I would see her, in a quiet moment, I would wisper in her ear, "Please pray for me." In confidence I felt she would, even as a little girl before reason. She has touched my heart as well as your family. I almost want to bless myself passing your street, knowing that a saintly family resides there. You have been a testimony of faith unparalled in my lifetime. May God continue to bless you and heal you in your time of grief.
