I gotto know John at CCTS and he was a great person and everyone liked his stories about cooking and baking. We really got to know John and he will be missed by everyone here at school. I would like to send my condolences to Mrs. Quattrochi and the family.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy in the passing of Mr. "Q".
I work for Camden County Technical Schools and often spoke to John about his family and, of course, recipes. We all knew his passion for cooking and baking.
John will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

I wish to relate my condolences to Mrs. Quattrochi and his daughter, Mrs. Slimm. I work at Camden County Technical Schools dealing with substitutes for the High School Division. It was an honor to know John; he was a gentleman and a very brillant man! He always greeted me with a smile and will be sadly missed. I hope that time will heal you both because he often spoke of you and truly loved you. Please take care. Sincerely.

He was not your typical mechanic--that's for sure.
I met John when he ran the Exxon station on Brace Road.
He had art work, books and a collection of unusual friends from various walks of life frequenting the establishment. He introduced me to Eddy the cement contractor and David the dental professor and and I introduced him to Nick the stockbroker and Roger the Judge.
When he tired of corporate shenanigans and closed the station, I was concerned that he'd end up despondent--but he was full of surprises-- he returned to college and finished his degree. Most importantly, he did not boast of this accomplishment, ever. He enjoyed teaching and I feel received a good deal of fulfillment by doing so.
His family, students and I will miss him.
