What is there to say other than it has taken me awhile before I was able to visit this site. Ever since I can remember, I asked the Lord to give me a sister and he blessed me with you, my "Big" sister. You were such a huge part of my life ever since I can remember and now there is this huge hole. My only consolation is that you are with Mom, Gram, Gramps, your Dad and others and they are taking good care of you. You were the BEST wife and friend that a sister could want for her treasured brother. It is not up to us to question the Lord's will, but it sure is hard not to ask WHY? Those of us that are left behind are taking good care of Ed...his time is not now but he will join you in the end and you will be together with the Lord as you were on earth. Always know how much fun I always had with you, how I always looked up to you. I miss you terribly but please know that I love you always and your memory will always live with me. Your little sister, Chris

I'm going to miss my big sister always being there for me. I'll treasure all the great times we've shared. Our many trips and shopping sprees. Jack and I getting snowed in with you and Eddie and never wanting to leave!! You are definitely an angel. We are all blessed to have had you in our lives. You will never be forgotten as you will always be in our hearts. For now, we say goodbye but we know we'll be together again. To my Butch, love your Sweet Cheeks

I will always remember those great times that we spent together. Those big hills in Ohio that we would always ride on when we visited you. God gave me someone special to have in my life and I know I haven't seen or talked to you both in awhile, I still love you guys so much. You were an angel sent from God to look out for everyone and you have touched my heart in so many ways over the years! You will be sadly missed. You and Uncle Ed were great God Parents. I know that I will see you again someday, until then,
I will miss you. And Uncle Eddie stay strong and just remember all those great times that you had together! I love you too!
Love always

Dear Ed, It was a shock to hear about Darla. She will be missed tremendously. If it were at all possible we would be there. Jeanne, Jimmy, and Jay said to tell "Mr. Ed" that they are sorry to hear about Darla and will miss her. We are so thankful that we talked to both of you the other week. We were looking forward to possible seeing you in March. Maybe we can still meet you if you are up to it. Ed take comfort in knowing that Darla brought love and joy to everyone that she met. She was a wonderful person and we loved her dearly and will miss her alot. Love Jim and Sharon and family

I can remember as a child, spending time with Aunt Darla & Uncle Eddie, even though they are not my blood relatives, they were my family through marriage, the love they showed for us myself & brothers was the same. Until this day I will always remember Aunt Darla's hardy laugh, her love that reached out to everyone, and her elephants. Which she treasured.I collect because she always told me that would bring good luck & happiness I still can see all of us at Aunt Kass's house together. Days I will always treasure, along with the days we spent at Uncle Eddie's parents house with Mrs Lomardo & Mr Lomardo's Lamb Chop.
God needed a special angel in heaven. He has one now. I believe we will all meet again. Until that day Aunt Darla, rest in peace. Uncle Eddie be strong, I know this is a tough time, people say it will be easier, but only you can make it that.
All My Love
Kim

Ed,
We are so sorry to hear of Darla's passing. Having received your Christmas card a few short weeks ago, to learn of you celebrating a wonderful "40" years together. We were so lucky to be a part of your lives, working with you at BP, and celebrating with the two of you on your retirement, and your return back home to the East Coast. Our boys remember Darla sending them little gifts. God must have needed a special angel! You're in our thoughts and prayers, today and always.

You will be missed so very much. I will alway's remember all the great times that we shared together, even as a child when you picked me up from preschool, moving right along to my teenage years, especially the summer I spent with you and Uncle Ed in Ohio. That same summer I was baptized and given the greatest god-parents, You & Uncle Ed. These are some of the many memories that I will never forget. Until we meet again.
Love alway's
