Obituary of Dorothy P Zirbser

ZIRBSER ? Dorothy P. nee Hampshire a longtime resident of Woodbury, NJ passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband on Dec. 3, 2005 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer?s disease. Dorothy was born and raised in Philadelphia. Dorothy?s family was successful at building, owning & operating Greenbriar Healthcare Centers & Heritage Assisted Living Facility. She enjoyed crocheting for her family and traveling between Woodbury, Laurel Lake, and Ft. Lauderdale. Dorothy, known to her family and friends as Dot, will be lovingly remembered as a sweet, kind, fun loving woman who was always generous to everyone she met. Dot devoted her life to her husband and family and will be sadly missed by Ed, her husband of 64 years, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is the beloved wife of Edward J. Zirbser, Sr., devoted mother of Edward and Jane Zirbser, Jr., Cheryl Zirbser, Dennis and Barbara Zirbser, Deborah and Rocco DiBruno, and Michael and Jean Zirbser, dear sister of James McNeil, loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 15.
