Dear Michele, Fran, Michael, Patty, Justin, Jennifer, Bryan & Marty, Uncle Lou, Uncle Joe, Aunt Marie and Aunt Helen
As I mentioned at Aunt Jean's passing when I was lucky enough to be introduced into the Raspa Family over twenty years ago I immediately felt like I belonged and needless to say that Aunt Jean and Uncle Caesar played a huge part in that "fit in feeling".
I immediately think back to the times when I would go over to Rick's house when we were dating and I would pull up in the driveway and I'd glance over to next door and I would see Uncle Caesar and Aunt Jean sitting on the "Front Porch" enjoying their glass of wine and enjoying each other and I would have to smile ~ isn't that what life is all about !!!
Uncle Caesar had such love for his family ... his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and nephews and nieces ... I smile whenever I think of when he entered a family party and he would greet his family with however they were related to him "Brother", "Sister" ... I always thought ...it must be an Italian thing :
Uncle Caesar's love for his St. Margaret's family ... his involvement with the Men's Club ... his duties as an usher and he was an honorary member of the Carnival Committee ... nightly he would walk over to the fair grounds and ask whether or not we needed him at the game wheel ... of course we always did !!! there were other volunteers that requested to be placed next to Caesar!!!
He was faithful to the Women's Club ... always attending the Fashion Show --- ahhh his smile as the models would approach his end of the runway : ... his devotion to the Attic Treasures - making sure that the silver was polished and the toys were displayed just right ... and the end of the year dinner ~ Uncle Caesar was always there ... he had such fidelity to St. Margaret's, his family and friends.
I know in my heart that as Uncle Caesar entered heaven Aunt Jean greeted him with a great big kiss and a hug and a "what took you so long Doll?" and we all know that his reply was ..."BEAUTIFUL" !!!!!
Uncle Caesar you will be missed but you are in GREAT HANDS !!!
I love you ...
