We are so sorry.. We loved Uncle Mike and we are so proud to be a part of this wonderful family. We are so greatful to have spent some really great times with Uncle Mike and Aunt Violet and my children are so lucky to have some really fun memories of him. We all enjoyed story time in the gazebo and having mudslides by the fire. I am very lucky to have had the oportunity to get to know my Uncle better. He was a great man, as everyone knows... and he will be greatly missed... We love you all..

Dear Mike,
There are so many good memories, too many to mention. I just want you to know that I am proud to say you were my brother-in law. You served your country and family well! You were a loving father, husband and more a brother, than in-law not only to me but to my brothers as well. You will always be remembered. May you rest in peace, be happy where you are, for the only place better than earth is Heaven!
Dear Violet, Debbie, Mickey, Donna and Julie Kay,
At a time like this, words that would make a difference are few. There are many clichés that are meant to comfort and console, but often leave you feeling hollow. The real comfort comes in knowing that ?you gave the very best care to Mike, invested yourselves, loved abundantly and truly unconditionally.? The void is something that cannot be denied or filled or talked away and though your loss is heavy right now, realize that your love, care and support were a great blessing to Mike.
I wish you serenity, strength and every single thing that will put your hearts at ease. I wish I could make your hearts lighter and offer a magical solution to all that may have you sorrowful and weary at this time, but I do not?but..I do have a heart that loves you and a promise to be here for you. I love you Violet, Debbie, Mickey, Donna and Julie Kay.
Love,
John Hadley

Dear Uncle Mike,
In life people dont find many Hero's but you are definately one of mine for so many reasons. I only hope that you are at peace and exactly where you want to be and I hope that when I come there you will be there with that wonderful warm laugh and gentleness that I have come to know and love. I will miss you!

I enjoyed every moment with "Mike"! I most remember when he was trying to stop smoking and one of his daughters bought him a fake cigarette. He sure tried it but I dont think he enjoyed it much. The next time I saw him he was smoking a real cigarette and drinking coffee....just like he loved. He and his family are always in my thoughts! What a wonderful group of ladies he has left to carry on the goodness of life!

Donna and Family,
I would like to extend my condolences to you and your family. I just lost my father, as well, on Aug 10th and I still check the guestbook for new messages. This is an extremely tough time for all of you and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
It's very strange....I just recently came across an old picture of Donna, Micki and me in Florida that I had scanned years ago. The three of us sitting on a diving board by a pool. Wow, were we young back then!
Again, sorry for your loss. I wish there was something I could do or say to help you through this heartbreaking time, but I know there's nothing that really helps.
My pain is still very fresh, and I can relate to what you must be feeling. So, if you want or need to just talk....please don't hesitate to email me.
Chris
