I am the RN that admitted George to Elmer and spent time with Denise. There love for each other and their family was apparent and open. We discussed 18year old daughters and their "worldly" problems. I wanted to thank George's father for helping us get George ready for surgery on that Friday. Your family's love and devotion to each other is heartfelt by myself and the others that cared for him at Elmer. In just a short amount of time George touched our lives. We thank him for that. Patients of ours will come and go, he will remain in our memories as one of the most endearing. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time.

Dearest Denise, Christina, and Stephanie...I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and father. He seemed to me to be something of a quiet giant who loved his family very much. I think of him now and remember our parent conferences together. He very much loved his girls. If you need ANYTHING, just ask. I love you all very much. May God completely surround you with His comfort and peace.

Dee, Chrissy and Stephie,
I hope you all realize how very special Georgie was to me. I have so many incedible memories of times that we had spent together during my difficult teen years. Dee, you told me that you and Georgie made your mistakes with us, that is so untrue! The things that you talked to me about and the lessons that you both taught me has helped to shape who I am as a wife and mother. Things like 'be each others best friend, talk to your children and cherish them for who they are, eat what your mother cooked for you especially lima beans!', and so much more. Georgie was a father figure to us, but also a friend. He taught me how to shoot my first gun, giving me a chance to show that I was responible even when others thought I was still a child. He will always be a part of who I am today because of the time that we spent with you two while growing up.
Chrissy and Stephie, when you two are ready, I have so many stories to share with you about your dad. Just know that your mom and dad loved you both long before you all became a family, and that your father will always love you and be there for you, just a little further away.
Remember to take it one step at a time, believe that God will help you through and love each other as much as Georgie loved you all. He touched so many lives and because of that he will be in everyones hearts for a long time, he's not gone, nor forgotten... he has just moved on to another place to watch over you all.
Love Sharon
