I will always remember Lou as a great softball coach. He coached me in the Tri-County All-Stars back in the mid-90's, and then in National Park as well. I drove all the way from Blackwood just to be on his team because of his coaching and overall love for his players & the sport had impressed my family and I. He will always be remembered by myself and anyone who played on any of his teams as the best coach a player could ever have. He will be definitely be missed.

I am a better person because I had Mr. Manfre in my life. He was my softball coach and my basket ball coach, many years ago. He was a positive influence to every young lady he coached. As an adult I enjoyed sitting in the hall way of National Park school talking to him. In doing so we were talking about the fact that my house had burned down and all of my pictures of our basketball days were lost. The next time I saw him he brought me two team pictures. One of NPK Basketball team and one of the CYO team that he coached me on.That's the kind of man he was, always giving.I am proud that I served as an officer of the aca with him. I am also proud that I was on the committee to honor him at opening day a few years ago. He will never be forgotten.

Margaret and Family:
I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear of the passing of your dad. I remember him to be a very nice man and I know how he meant to you and helped you. My father passed away 5 years ago so I know a little of what you and your family are going thru. I will keep you in my prayers for all of you. Take care. Gloria
