In Memory of a Very Special Lady
I give you this one thought to keep-
I am with you still- I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone-
I am with you still-in each new dawn.

I was very sorry to hear about Mrs. Cavello's passing. Mrs. Cavello and I often sat on the white bench in front of her home and shared many conversations after I finished my walks. We would talk about a lot of things and shared many laughs. I will miss her, but yet at the same time remember our talks.

I was very sorry to read about Joan's death in the paper. I am Gordon's wife who is Donald's brother. I notified Gordon and he was shocked to learn of Joan's death. We all will be praying for the family. We have some very happy memories of our travels with Joan and Donald.

We were so sorry to read about Joan's passing. We met Joan a few years ago in the Colonial Diner and got friendly. When we were all in there we ate dinner together. She was a very kind and loving person and will be greatly missed.

To the Family of Lena Joan Cavallo:
Please accept my sympathy at the loss of your dear loved one. The grief you are now experiencing is very natural. Jesus called death an "enemy" 1 Corinthians 15:26, and he himself even expressed his grief by giving way to tears when his friend Lazarus died. However, Jesus also said at John 5:28, 29 that the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs grave will hear his voice and come out to a resurrection. What a wonderful time of reunion that will be! At Revelation 21:3, 4, we find the heart-warming promise that God "will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
I hope that these words of encouragement from the Bible can help to soothe the pain you are now feeling.
Sincerely,
Carolyn Niedrist
