TO MY MOM:
"IF ROSES GROW IN HEAVEN"
If roses grow in heaven, LORD, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my mother's arms and tell her they are from me.
And, when she turns to smile,
Please hold her for a while and place a kiss upon her check for me.
For remembering her is easy, I do it everyday, because there is such an ache within my heart that never goes away.
Love you, Mom
Theresa

My mom was a great woman. She never had a bad word about anyone. Her smile would light up a room. If my sister, my mom and I went out anywhere's and got laughing, people would remark on how nice it was to see a family have so much fun together. My sister and I miss our Mom tremendously. It feel's like an empty space. But, we know in our hearts that we had to let go. She was in alot of pain and her emotions were not the women we knew. Due to the Alzheimers disease, it overtook her body and mind. There was many people who touched her life in some way, even though they felt it was not that big of a deal. But, it really was. The disease makes people scared and not understanding why they feel so confused. So, my sister and I have to look at the facts that our Mother is in a better place. She is out of pain and can speak clearly now. No one loved her anymore than we did. But, we know that we now have a special angel up in heaven watching over us.

Nan not only had a smile that would light up a room but she had a smile that was contagious, when ever you were around her you can bet you would be smiling. So, if you ever need a smile look for the brightest star - You will know that is nan smiling at you so smile back.
Nan.........You will always be in our thougths. We miss and love you very much.
