Obituary of Maude Hughes
HUGHES, Maude Nee Ferrell of Deptford on May 7, 2005. Aged 90 years.
Born and raised in Angier, NC, Maude had lived in Camden for many years before moving to National Park. She also lived in Mickleton for 25 years before moving to Deptford.
Before retiring in 1980, she was a waitress at China Clipper Restaurant in Camden for 13
years. Maude was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for VFW Post # 6884 in National Park.
In her spare time, Maude enjoyed embroidering, gardening and making ceramics.
Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren and ather shore home in Wildwood. Her family will remember Maude as a ?Spitfire? for her feisty spirit.
Beloved wife of the late Terrance. Devoted mother of Dolores Bishop of Deptford and Terrance Hughes of Billingsport. Loving grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 6. Dear aunt of Jackie Alessi, as well as numerous other nieces and
nephews.
