Obituary of Edward McFadden

McFadden, Edward, of Washington Twp., NJ on April 17, 2005. Aged 84 years. Ed was a proud US Army Veteran of WWII. Prior to retirement in 1979, Ed worked as a Crane Operator / Supervisor for the US Naval Shipyard, Phila. For 35 years, he was proud to receive an award for never missing a days work in that time. Ed was a devout member of St. Jude?s Church where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and an usher. In his spare time Ed enjoyed playing golf, socializing, traveling and going to casinos. Ed will be fondly remembered as a happy man who enjoyed life and loved his family. He is the beloved husband of 21 years to Anna nee Marshall and the late Irene nee Duffy, devoted father of Joan McFadden Rose Saul, Gerry S., Edward D. Deborah, and Step-Father to Carol Mason Fred and Earl Marshall Janis, dear brother of Joseph and the late Daniel & Mary, loving Grandfather of 2, step grandfather of 5, great-grandfather of 1 and step great-grandfather of 6. Viewing Thurs. 6:30 ? 9 PM and Fri. 8:30 ? 9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral Mass: Fri. 10AM in St. Jude RC Church, Blackwood.
