Our memories build a special bridge
when loved ones have to part
To help us feel we're with them still
and soothe a grieving heart.
Our memories span
the years we shared,
preserving ties that bind.
They build a special bridge of love
and bring us peace of mind...
My most fondest memory of you is when Jeannine and I would spend the night at your house. We would have so many competitions on whatever we could come up with but you would never choose a side. You loved us all the same. I love you so much and will miss you until I see you again. I love you pop-pop and don't worry mom-mom will always be taken care of.
Lives lived in laughter will never be forgotten.

How does one write everything that they feel for one person in 1000 characters? Pop-Pop I love you soooo much and miss you immensly. I dont really remember too many things about you, all i have to go on is the last weeks at the hospital. I enjoyed the time I spent with you soo much and will always remember the toothless grins and wide eyes they always made me smile when I thought I was losing it. I dont want you to worry at all about Mom-Mom we all love her very much and will take very good care of her. One day we will have our date we planned, one day we will walk together through a park and I cant wait for that day. I LOVE YOU POP-POP AND ALWAYS WILL! HEAVEN BLESS YOU AND REST IN PEACE. you deserve it.

What a wonderful man and grandfather. You always had a great sense of caring for everybody around you especially Mommom. I remember when Johnny made his communion last year and I had mentioned to you that I was gone to purchase a CD with his money and you called me on the phone to tell me to wait because the interest rates would be going up in a month or so, always sharing your knowledge with everyone, what a smart man you were. I will miss our annual Thanksgiving dinner with you and our annual Christmas Eve get together at your house. You were such a strong man with an unbelievable will to fight. You fought until the last minutes of your life. Just know that we will take care of Mommom because I know you were worried about her. I Love You and rest in peace, you deserve it!!

It' hard to sit here, and try to write all of the emotions I am going through. I miss you so much already. I am so glad that I had you as a grandfather. You never treated me as a step-grandson,but as one of your own, and I thought of you as the same. You were such a strong man, fighting all the way to the end, always having a sense of humor even when you were in pain. I LOVE YOU POP-POP. I will see you everynight in my prayers.

Pop Pop the time we spent together fishing, camping, talking, sharing memories together have been very special to me. You tought my father values, morals and respect and he tought me the same. No matter what what was going on in your life you were always positive, loving and caring. I could spend hours writing about what a great man and grandfather you were. I just want you to know that I will always love you and think about you. I miss you and think about you all the time. Im gonna miss the Birthday and Christmas cards that you make us on your computer. Im gonna miss sitting at your house talking to you and Mom-Mom. Im gonna miss sharing stories about our times in the military and seeing your face brighten up when anyone in the family comes over to see you. You have nothing to worry about now Mom-Mom will be taken care of. Now you can rest in peace. I might have lost a grandfather but I now have an angel watching over me. I love you Pop-Pop with all my heart and even though it hurts that you are gone I feel better that you are resting comfortably I love you.

He was a wonderful Dad. He was a man to be looked up to and was always willing to help others. He taught me how to do many of the practical things one needs to do to keep their house in order. He also provided for his family always - working many years and driving many miles to a job he didn't really enjoy - but that didn't matter. Taking care of his family did! I love you Dad and I'll miss seeing and talking with you. But you're with Jesus now and someday I'll be there with you!
