Obituary of Kathleen A. Bramante
Bramante, Kathleen, of Washington Twp. died Tuesday January 25th at her home.
Beloved wife of Frank Bramante. Devoted mother of James & his wife, Lisa; Brigitte and her husband, Bradford Dothard and John Bramante. Grandmother of Steven and Taylor Bramante and Brandon & Bradford Dothard.
Daughter of Margaret Kearney of Bellmawr and the late James Kearney. Sister of James & Kay Kearney; Patrick & Debbie Kearney; Peggy & Richard Grams and Jackie & Dave Heckman. Beloved daughter-in-law of Virginia and Frank Bramante and sister-in-law of Priscilla Bramante and Francine Viti.
Kathleen Bramante?s metaphysical studies began over thirty years ago. She hosted radio and TV programs in Philadelphia and Atlantic City for over twenty years interviewing the leading names in Astrology and Metaphysics. Her broadcasting work began when psychic phenomena was still in the closet in 1980. Her career has entailed nearly twenty years producing and hosting live talk shows, scheduling talent and interviewing guests. She was called ?New Jersey?s most listened to psychic? by the Courier-Post and was honored with an award for ?Most Accurate Predictions on Radio? from a psychic investigation organization. While Kathleen respected intuitive gifts, her work as a talk show host allowed her to interview and investigate scientists and experts offering concrete evidence into the powers of the mind.
As Resident Psychic, Kathleen hosted live weekly shows with audience participation from the Claridge and Tropicana casinos. She taught high stakes gamblers at the Taj Mahal how to tap into their psychic ability to win. She entertained for 20th Century Fox Film Festival at Resorts International and also for Columbia Pictures, Disney, Paramount and other studios during film previews.
Kathleen gained respect through her work with intuitive police investigation across the country and joined the Casino Investigative Unit in their search for missing persons. She often was called upon to aid front page, out of state investigations using the birth data of the victim and clothing to pick up impressions.
Always a popular lecturer, Kathleen enjoyed audience interaction with ESP demonstrations. In addition, she wrote columns for several newspapers, Ask the Experts; Stepping Out Entertainment Magazine, Imprint, Body, Mind & Spirit Magazine and Presence Sense Etiquette Magazine. Kathleen also published the ESP-Examiner and Psychic Web Report. She hosted Soul Mates for About.com, wrote website reviews for Briefme.com and a weekly column called ?Simply Psychic.?
Kathleen most enjoyed teaching and served as an instructor of Psychic Development and Metaphysics at the Psychic Education and Development Center. She was also invited to become a member of the Advisor Board. Her teaching led her to filming, An Experiment in Telepathy for Temple University. Her early work, for eight years, with preschoolers helped fine tune her teaching ability. She admitted that it was her near death experience at the age of twenty-two that heightened her psychic sensitivity and her ability to see and communicate with spirit. Perhaps that is why the Gloucester Co Times dubbed her ?The Happy Medium?.
Kathleen studied Feng Shui with Prof. Lin Yun at Harvard University. She also studied Feng Shui with Master Joseph Yu from Toronto, CA. She was a member of the Philadelphia Astrological Society; the Astrological Society of Princeton, the NJ Center for Metaphysics, Cosmic Circle Astrology, the Feng Shui Guild and the National Council for Geocosmic Research.
