Over a year since you have been gone, and life still isnt the same without you! I miss you rolling your eyes and shaking your head at me! I miss your advice! I miss you drumming your fingers on the table or making the table shake with your knee! I miss talking about comuters with you and watching you play with the newest latest gadgets! but most of all, I miss you putting your arm around my shoulder and telling me "everything will be okay"

I was never fortunate enough to know Ted Wade, but in order to produce a child as amazing & wonderful as Steve, it seems to me he would have to have been terrific. I am so sorry about your loss. & Steve, i hope you know i will always be there for you.
lots of love,
Mary

Steve, you are one of my very closest and best friends. I was very upset when i heard about your father's passing. Mr. Wade was one of the nicest and most accomidating people I have ever met. He always made me welcome in his home.
My foundest memory of Ted is the time i slept on Steve's bedroom floor the night after a concert. Mr. Wade did not know i was an overnight guest in his home. When he went to check in on steve, fast asleep in his bed, he opened the bedroom door and unintentionally hit me square in the face.
Every time I think back on that moment, i cannot help but laugh. That is how Mr. Wade should always be remebered; with big smiles and laughter.

I don't think I can write anything that would do Ted justice. He was, and will always be, the greatest man I have ever met. Him and his family became my own, and knowing I will never again share a holiday with him or get to see him smile makes my heart ache.
I am comforted, though, knowing how fortunate I was to have him in my life. I will always keep his memories close to my heart. I hope those memories will help me create a life that is as great as his was.

one can't say if Ted was a better Husband or Father, friend or hardest worker. whatever it was, he did it the only way he knew. full-heartidly, and in my opinion...perfectly.
it's been said that no one is perfect. because of him, i'll never believe that. i have lost the strongest, smartest most selfless, loving man i ever knew and ever will. no one can come close to understanding how great a man he was. but i am very fortunate. of all the things he made me feel. he made me feel loved, and lucky to be his son.
i will miss my father.

I knew Ted for a number of years through Schurr Truck Parts and had the honour and privledge of meeting Ted in person a few times.
Ted was a wonderful person and I am very lucky to have known Ted and been able to call him a friend.
Seeing Ted in Houston February of 2004 was a great inspiration to me. Ted battled courageous against cancer and had a strong will to live.
Partslink and I would like to pass on our condolences to the Wade family. Ted you will be missed greatly.
May you rest in peace.
