Dear Gene and Robert,
I remember how happy Donald was while he lived at the Evergreen group home.
I was the director there when he arrived from the WDC. He made a few good friends right away. I remember him sitting in the living room, especially after dinner, and chatting with his best friend, Larry. He loved company and was not shy sharing his feelings when it came to the institutions. He had an active social life. He enjoyed dances, parties, movies, going to the casino, Camp Sun 'n Fun, day trips, and varied vacations. Donald also attended church and was a member of the Arc Self-Advocacy group. He had a full life and was well liked. I will miss seeing him.
God bless you both. May you someday be happily reunited with your son and brother, a well and happy Donald.

To the Pearson Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I met Donald about two years ago when doing a clinical experience at the Woodbury ATS. He was such a joy to be around---always smiling. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To the family of Donald Pearson,
Deepest sympathy upon Donald's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Donald since the late 1980's when he moved into Evergreen House while I was working at Woodbury ATS. I have since moved on to working at The Arc Administrative Office and enjoying working with Donald when he attended Camp Sun 'N Fun. Be assured that those of us who knew him will always remember his wonderful sense of humor and cheerful personality.
Sincerely,
Brenda Powell

I was sadded to hear of Donald's passing. I worked with him through The Arc Gloucester's Reaching Out For Rights Self-Advocacy Group. He had no problem speaking up for his rights and was a role model and leader for our group.
