Obituary of Dorothy E. Carpenter

Carpenter , Dorothy E. nee-Neubert of Wilmington Delaware formerly of Franklinville, on October 22, 2004 at age 87 years. Wife of the late George B. Carpenter, Beloved Mother of Darlene Carpenter, Grandmother of Ginger, Sister of Harry Neubert and the late James , Arthur and Harold Neubert. Dorothy enjoyed camping and travel. She was active in politics a 4-H and brownie leader, a Sunday school teacher , an avid swimmer , roller skater , enjoyed playing soft ball and cards. She loves spending her time at flea markets selling jewelry as well as at tending yard sales. Dorothy loved children/ animals and caring for others as well as gardening. She was a beautician , a waitress, and a homemaker. Viewing Wednesday 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter Street Woodbury. Funeral Service 2:00 P.M.
