i'm still in shock ,as i sit here and type, about the death of my dear friend and neighbor mrs.johnson. i will never forget going to her house every day just hear her share her life stories with me, and how she would listen to my childish dreams and goals. but no matter how childish or impossible they were she always believed in me. she was like a grandmother to me . she would even take care of me when i was sick. i think i missed her and mr.johnson the most when i moved away 4 years ago but i will always have the many great memories we shared in her front yard. she was loved and will be missed.with love and condolences to the family , sincerly caity lilley

Words can hardly express what Mary has been to me and my family. We were the Johnsons neighbors for 24 years .Since we moved I don't think we missed anyone as much as them.Mary was always available and had a smile and kind words of wisdom for me and my little family. We were welcomed as if we were part of their family.I know that she is with the Lord and enjoying the beautiful gardens of our Lord with friends and family that have gone before her but that doesn't mean I will miss her any less but I know I will see her again. We pray Gods love and peace will comfort her dear husband Jack and their sons and little Bryceher Joy.Love Bob & Jeanette Lilley

Before we moved away to another state we lived accross the street from the Johnson's for twenty years.
They were the best of neighbors. We
remember Mary as the lady with a
heart of gold, always smiling and her
love for her family.
Although we lost touch the last few
years, we never forgot the kindness
of Mary.
Mary was loved by many and will be
greatly missed.

Dear Uncle Jack,Cousins Eric and Wayne
We thank God for Mary who helped so many people with her medical knowledge. We especially realize she helped to extend our Mother, Helen's life for which we are eternally grateful.
A bright light is out and a soft southern voice is silenced.

Dear Grandmom,
Mommy and Daddy told me you are in heaven now. I am happy becuase I know that is where God lives. But it also makes me sad because I will miss you. I loved playing and laughing with you. You let me play with such fun things when I came to visit you - like your paper weights and metal horse and carriage. You always made me smile.
I love you Grandmom.
Your Little Buddy,
Bryce

Mary welcomed me into her family with open arms and an open heart. No one could ask for a better Mother-In-Law. I felt connected to her - as I am sure many of her friends felt. She was so loving and caring you couldn't help but give her a special place in your heart. She was so easy to talk to and had an understanding of life that comes from leading a full and meaningful one.
I can picture Mary now sitting in the grandstands in heaven with God on one side of her and her father on the other. I can see her smiling at her loved ones, still running the race, and cheering them on with love and encouragement. I'm sure she wishes she could be there to lend a helping hand, as she always did. But I know she is in my heart always ready with a smile and a hug.
I celebrate a lovely woman, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. I am thankful I was blessed to share 10 years of my life with her.

We will remember Aunt Mary as warm and kind. She always had a smile and a gentle word. She was always concerned about others and never dwelt on herself. She always encouraged my daughter Mary in her nursing career and we shared many happy times at our family reunions. The lovely blue glass basket she gave Mary always sits on her dining room table. I think of Aunt Mary each time I see it. These precious memories will be written on our hearts forever. Love, Linda, Mary and Russell

My Dearest Uncle Jack and Sweet Cousins Eric and Wayne, "A life well-lived doesn't end anymore than music ends. It echos thru time with whispers of beauty and grace..and if we listen, we can hear the encore with our hearts, for the song plays on, just as love lives on."
Mary's life was a precious gift of hope and strength and grace from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place. It's filled with moments sweet and sad, with happiness, and sometimes with tears, with friendships and good times shared. It is on these occasions that we realize how important our families are. In an instant we are flooded with precious memories and some regrets. All these loving, lasting memories our gratefull hearts will treasure. We are so glad that Mary was part of God's plan for our lives. We will always think of her in the Spring when the seedling poppies she gave us bloom. Our prayer is that you will all find comfort in knowing how much others love and care about you. Love always Sis and Earl.

My thoughts and prayers go to you Wayne & also Eric, Bryce and Mr Johnson, on the news of the loss of your much loved mother, granma and wife. Wayne you always described her to me as a wonderfully warm and strong human being who taught you many valuable life lessons. I know she will be very greatly missed, however I am sure that you are also glad that her suffering of late has been taken away. May the pain of your loss be lessened because of that knowledge. I shall be there in Spirit on Saturday. My Love to you all, Patricia

". . . they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple, and He Who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
Revelation 7:15-17.

Mary, my friend and neighbor welcomed me to the neighborhood 11 years ago. She gave me tips on gardening, helped me when my father passed and she would take my garbage cans in for me while I was at work-especially on a windy day. She is a beautiful spirit and I know she is in perfect health now. I'm happy for that, but I miss her light and warm smile. Ruth
