I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Capt. Frank. I only knew Frank about 3 years but that was long enough to know what a kind and gentle man he was. I met Frank on the docks and we shared many of fishing stories together. I will always remember the time we spent talking about fishing. Frank and I spoke weekly about what was biting and where. I will miss those conversations.

Jeannine, Mr. and Mrs. Griffin,
It was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Frankie. While I didn't know him as long as some of his friends I am saddened to know that I won't see him again.
Few people in the offshore fishing community were as friendly and outgoing as Frankie. To say that Frank was a good person would be a gross understatement.
Frank never had an unkind or cross word for anyone, no matter how stressful or difficult the circumstance. He was the epitome of a perfect gentleman at all times, even when others around him weren't.
He made friends very quickly and everyone was always happy to see and talk to him aorund the docks and on the boats.
My brother Brian and I came to know Frank well and we will miss seeing his smiling face and those twinkling Irish eyes around the tournaments.
Rest in peace Frankie and may God bless your family and friends and keep you safely always.
My wife Rene, daughter Alexa, brother Brian and I will keep you in our prayers and thoughts.
"Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12
With deepest sympathy,
Kevin Kilroy

To the family of Frank Griffin: Twenty-five years ago I had the pleasure of having Frank in my Algebra class. Over the years, certain students leave a lasting impression on you and Frank was one of the first to do so. He was such a friendly and respectful student that, all these years later, I can still see his smile. My heart ached when I saw his name in the paper. Please know that he will never be forgotten and that I am keeping him and all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless.

I haven't seen Frank in a couple of years...ironically, it was at a friend's father's funeral...since I resigned from Trump Marina in 1999. Frank was a great guy who always appeared to have a positive attitude about everything. I dealt with, supervised, shared meals and stories with Frank for many years. Please accept my condolences, and may God continue to Bless Frank and his entire family.

We would like to extend our deepest symathies to the family and friends of Frank. We had the pleasure of knowing Frank for many years through our employment at both Tropicana and Trump Marina. Frank was such a wonderful young man...full of warmth, generosity, and kindness, and he possessed such a loving spirit that was evident to all with whom he came into contact. Although his time on earth was much too short, please take comfort in knowing that Frank brought a lot of joy to so many throughout his life, and that someone as special as he was is surely in Heaven with Our Lord. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Joe & Vickie Sacco DeRosa

Words cannot express how shocked and sad I was when I heard that Frankie passed away. I'll never forget how I met you all back in 1964, and how much I enjoyed babysitting Frankie. Those times were very special to me, and it was Frankie who started calling me "Meme".
I know how difficult this must be for all of you, but I hope in time you are comforted by pleasant memories of Frankie. My heart goes out to you and your family.
With Love and Concern,
