The world is short one bright smile. Whenever I think of Gus I see a big smile and then I get one too. His wit and humor, handshake and smile are imprinted on my memory.

Gussy has blessed our family with many happy memories. To think of him is to think of laugther. People who knew him best knew that you had to be on your toes when you were around him, because you never knew when he was going to come out with a new "Gussyism" that he has so famous for. I had the privilege to grow very close to this part of my family while I lived with Sharon, Tommy and Johnny, and right across the street from "A.J." Aunt Joyce and Gussy. Over the years this family has become very special to me and I will always cherish the memories that include Gus Mascitti. We love you and miss you, but will never forget you...

I'll never forget my memories of Pop. For some reason, this joke just came to mind. "Johnny, who is Mr. Ferris? The big wheel at the circus." For anyone who knows Pop, this is how he was. A goofball, but we all loved him very much. I'll miss you very much and I love you, Pop.

Because of Gussy, I had a wonderful dad, a brother who I adore, many more cousins, uncles, etc. that have made growing up even more happy. Mom, Sharon & I will have countless happy memories to carry us through our lives. If Gus can't be here with us now, I am content knowing he is with our loving Lord Jesus, for eternity. Until I see you again, I love you always, your daughter Sophia
