Dear Kenny,
When we all were growing up our neighbors always praised us for being so good to you. My response to them always was " Why wouldn't we be he's our brother." They only saw what we did for you, but you did so much more for us and I wish to thank you. Kenny, you brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. You taught us some of lifes important lessons such as: How to be patient, how to show compassion to others, to accept others for who they are, to be a good listener, to communicate not just with words, to enjoy the simpler things in life, never take what you can do for granted, and how a smile from someone can just melt the blues away.
So Kenny I hope you understand that you were never too heavy to carry, never a burden to us, you were simple our "big brother".

I loved Kenny's smile and the glint in his eye. Your midwestern cousins have not missed noticing how you have loved Kenny and how he loved you, and it has been a good example for us. Were are deeply saddedned by his passing and pray that knowing he is with the Lord will comfort you at this difficult time.

As we say goodbye to Kenny it is with a sad heart. The sadness will pass and we will have great memories! Applepies; Hersey Bars and pepsi will remind me of Kenny!
Also walking on the boardwalk on a sunny day all remind us of Kenny. He is happy and at peace.Kenny is up in heaven with his beloved mother & father. His mom is glad for the help with that old man of his. Kenny has no physical barriers now! He is free so lets be happy for him!

When I think of Kenny a few things come to mind like the song "He ain't heavy he's my brother" and summer vacations in Minnesota where Ken touched that slimy dead fish Kenny gagged, and the time the army wanted to draft him back in 1968 during the Vietnam war. Mostly I remember what dad used to tell him that in heaven he will be able to walk and get around and tell people what he's thinking. I like to think that right now he's doing a eternity of talking and a million miles of traveling in a second. Our brother is home. Our brother is with our parents. What more could any one of us pray for.
