I want to offer my sympathy to all the family of Al. I Remember stories that my parents told me of my mother Fran Schiavo giving all the Clifford boys haircuts during the war. Al and Rose are one of the nicest couples that I have ever met and ever served. Al will be saddly missed my everyone. He had a great family and I know that they will all stay by and take care of Rose. Rose I love the both of you and your family.

In August 2003, my husband, Steve, my Uncle Al and myself went to the 140th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. My Uncle Al is the one who sparked my interest in the Civil War. We would share books and movies on the Civil War. During all the reenactments, he would tell us things about the battles that you would not know by just watching them.
My husband and I, are very thankful to God, that we were able to take him on that small vacation.
My Uncle Al and my Aunt Rose were there for my mom and myself, when my father, his brother, passed away.
My Uncle and Aunt also were there when my mom had her stroke. They were my support system.
I will miss Uncle Al, but I know that he is in Heaven talking with General Longstreet.
