I met Joe only a handful of times but we had some really wonderful conversations. He had a great sense of humor and an outgoing personality. I hope his journey is peaceful and that he meets up with friends so that he can enjoy himself again.

My grandfather was a very caring and fun loving guy and he will be missed so much. here are some memories i have to share:
* Going over Pop-Pop's house every Thanksgiving and Easter, he was an awesome cook, on easter we would have easter egg hunts in his back yard
* When we were little he would give us "THE HOOK" and indian sunburns, ha ha
* When Gena, Joey,Johnny,Steven , and I were younger we would play hide and go seek in the dark in the basement at Pop-Pop's house, it was alot of fun!
*I always like hearing his stories about his days during World War II
* He was the only grandfather I knew who used to watch Jerry Springer and made fun of it :
* I can always see him wearing his sunglasses and U.S. New Jersey hat with a big smile on his face.
* I will miss not seeing him sitting on the chair on the front porch at aunt joanne's house drinking his coffee.
* He let us dress him up as a "rapper", he wore a thug hat, big sun glasses, and a microphone and said "yo yo"
* when we would help him get in and out of the car he would sing the theme song to cops , "BAD BOY" ha ha
*I remember when we were little we would always steal candy out of his candy bowl by the front door in his house
* I remember at Steven's Christening, Pop Pop sat with us in the church and started calling cousin Johnny a "hotdog" and johnny started yelling and we all got in trouble for laughing and making noise in the church
*when pop-pop would come to visit at our house he would always bring really good food with him, like lasanga and stuffed artichokes
i am running out of room on here so i guess i have to end it.
Pop-Pop B. i miss you and love you and i know now you are in a better place probably partying with all your friends and family up there!! Love chrissy

My pop pop was really the coolest any person could get. From the pictures of him rapping to all the old war stories he told us, I don't know how anyone could not like him. If I really could be like anyone, I would deffinitly want to be like him. He was great and I will truely miss him.
I love you Pop Pop

In my mind my Dad was the greatest Dad in the world . He loved his children and grandchildren very much and there was nothing he wouldn't do for all of us. He was a strong man with much character and integrity.
After suffering a stroke in March of 2000,his physical abilities were
serverly affected, but his personality, sense of humor , and love of his family remained the same.
The last 4 years he lived in the Greenbriar nursing home but my sister and myself tried to visit him every week and take him out for the day back to her house or other day trips which we know he enjoyed . His eyes lighened up when he saw us and our children whenever we came to get him . I will miss those visits and bringing him the chocolate milk and jello cups that he enjoyed.
Dad, We love you and will miss you !
John and Joanne
