Angelo and Lucy, I didn't know Mary but your caring and compassion for your fellow men must have been nurtured by a loving mother and that is a legacy that will honor Mary through generations. I hope knowing that gives you some measure of comfort at this time.

Mom, God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain, we would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again. You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide, you live on through your children, you're always by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

Although I never had the honor to meet Mary in person, her kindness and caring are evidenced by her children whom I do know - Angelo & Dee. I pray that they and all of Mary's family and friends can find comfort and peace.

This family has allowed me to feel part of it for most of my life. Some of the most exciting adventure stories and sentimental moments revolve around my best friend, Sharon, and her family. The story about my flat tire on the Walt Whitman Bridge on the way to Sharon's grandparent's house in 1979 has been retold dozens of times. Sitting with Grandmom at one of those huge family functions while she watched her family play games and sing songs, listening to her laugh at the little ones, knowing her through her daughter and granddaughter has given me memories of a person who was quiet and kind and unexpectedly resilient and strong. She will be missed by many family and friends who are lucky to have her watching over us from beyond. God bless you Grandmom.

Dear Angelo & Family:
I was so sorry to learn of your Mother's passing. Although I didn't know her very well and had only been in her company a few times, I do remember your Mom as a sweet and kind person.

GG, I am the most special person in the world. I got to spend my first year of life with my Great-Great Grandmom. It was awesome! I had so much fun running after you with my walker, and playing with you almost every day. I have many pictures of us together to look at when I get older. I can not wait to hear all the stories my mommy will share about you. I know you will watch over me forever. I love you GG.
Love your Great-Great Grandaughter,
Anjalaya Paige

While she had three children, she was "Mom" to many more. For the love and consideration she always shared with all of us, her peaceful tranquility will always be remembered through the smile she always seemed to have for each one of "The Gang". Our sorrow will be tempered by the fact that God will now be enjoying her smile

Our friendship started along time ago. Mary and her family would visit my family on the farm. As I grew to love Mary, I decided to call her AUNT MARY bringing her closer to my heart. Our memories will remain special to all of us.
And I thank you Aunt Mary for knowing you and giving us your wonderful family as well.... AMEN

Grandmom Mary was a gracious and sharp lady. On the day of Anjalaya's first birthday party we stopped by the house and had a wonderful conversation with Mary, Angelo and Lucille. We talked about Italy and the family.
I'm happy she lived such a long life and she was able to stay at home with the family. She will be missed.
