To the Sawicki Family:
As I previously mentioned to all of you, Tom was the nicest person I ever had the priviledge of knowing. "My point is" will forever be a part of my vocabularly. You were blessed in having this gentleman as a husband and a father. He was definitely a superstar. Tom will be missed but never forgotten.
And as requested, I will continue to keep the emails coming.

I had the pleasure and honor of working with Tom at SunGard. I also had the pleasure of taking a few trips with him which were always a great experience. He possessed a wealth of knowledge and could hold his own in any type of conversation. He was always pleasant and never had a negative comment about anyone or anything. Tom could bring a smile to your face nomatter what kind of day you were having. Anyone whoever met Tom got the better end of the deal.

There is an eternal bond that is created between a coach and a player.
Coach Sawicki, along with Carlos Casella and Jack Bradey of the Oak Valley Vikings, have that bond, without doubt, between all of the great players they have influenced.
As I had began my coaching endeavours through the invitation of my brother in-law, John Galloway, for the St. Joseph the Worker basketball organization in Levittown, PA., I had made it a point of telling him how this coach of mine, Mr. Sawicki, used "signing" to call defensive plays for Jack Bradey. I have used the same techniques for our basketball teams.
With Mr. Sawicki's passing, the torch is truely passed on as my daughter Anne and my son Robert, who are both very athletic, will benefit from my ability to call upon the days when Mr. Sawicki had the greatest impact on my life as an athlete.
There hasn't been a day that would go by where I had not found myself recalling the times when we were champions. jdb

My heart goes out to all. I was blessed to have him as a boss. He was kind, and considerate of everyone. Had wonderful stories and experiences to share. I will miss him but he will never be forgotten. His clients have said to me they always enjoyed coming in for taxes and talking to him.
There are so many things I see that remind me of him. Tastycakes, music, walnettos, The Geeks. Many good memories. He is now an angel and he has a wealth of knowledge to share in heaven.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Tom at SunGard. Tom was a wonderful man and was liked by all. We use to have a trivia game once a year. It was the men vs the women. We always made sure that Tom was in town for this contest.I often thought about Tom and offer my sympathy to the family. Tom was a great man.

Claire and Family,
My wife and I send our deepest sympathy to you on Tom's passing.
I spent more than a few hours with him during my days at SunGard and remember our sports discussions with great fondness. I also remember the Trivial Pursuit lunches where Tom really shined. Tom was always a gentleman and a wonderful co-worker. He will be sorely missed and the world will be a little less bright without him.
