My fondest memory of Uncle Russell was his constant love of life and the smile on his face. I vaguely remember seeing him in Fiddler on the Roof. How can we ever forget his Santa Claus impersonations each Christmas? I so wanted to believe! I'm saddened by the loss, but I know God has him in His loving arms. I will miss you!

Russ was truly a loving grandfather to Sarah Charlotte. He always expressed such joy at every little interaction with her. I remember him feeding Sarah Charlotte her first piece of chocolate cake at her first birthday party.
He was a kind, sweet soul, who always took an interest in others, and shared his joy in gardening as he showed people his latest plantings. I am richer for having known him.

I am so saddened to read of Russ's passing, but I smile when I think of the fun we had over many years. I met him first at the Edison Valley Playhouse, where he starred in Bells Are Ringing, and I had a comedy part. We then did a bit as Alfred Nobel and friend, for a Nobel Prize winner in Highland Park.
Another time, we did some Fidder songs for local groups, and another time, he wonderfully did Teyve for my mother's retirement dinner. He was superb. People thought the dinner was over, and Russ enters with the milk can on his back! Great! I have it on film.
And, he sold my mom's house, and worked so hard to advice us on just what to do. He was also in one of my crazy movies, with a brief part as the lead from Shanandoah.
He was fun, a great singer and actor, and a great friend. I'll remember him well!!!!!

We were classmates at both Our Lady of Victories and St. Peter's so many years ago. I vividly remember Bud's deep interest in music and theatricals.
