Where do i start? I never thought in a million years that this day would come. You have always been a great dad, husband and grandfather. You have always been there for everybody when needed. But i could sit for day just writing about times we've shared. And still not come to the reality of things. This is one of the hardest things i ever had to think about and as time comes i'm sure that things will become easier. Because i now that you are watching over all of us. And one day we will all be together again. No one will ever forget you and you will be missed very much. So untill we meet up with you again take it easy . Alex, Brandon, and Stephanie tell me to send their love. But you already know that. As for me and Heather we take day by day and we know that your with us every step of the way. Well miss you. Love you dad , pop , friend .

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about your husband. I work at the Colonial Diner in the mornings. I waited on your husband and his friend every Saturday morning. I will miss him. I would always serve him corned beef hash and eggs and I would kid him that he was eating kibbles n bits. My prays are with you and his mother and family.

I met Alan this past spring when I went to work for VCC.It was the "little boy" in both of us that made us more than just co workers... the love of model trains. His kind words and reassurance that things would get better, is helping me get through a recent rough time in my life.
I will miss that the most.
His catch phrase "Watch out for the crazies" will always stay in my head, but it is you Alan who can now watch out for them for us.
Rest in peace my friend,
Bill

Alan and Heather:
As you travel through life there are always those times when decisions just have to be made, when the choices are hard and solutions seem scarce and the rain seems to soak your parade! There are some situations where all you can do is to simply let go and move on, gather courage together and choose a direction that carries you toward a new dawn. So pack up your troubles and take a step forward. The process of change can be tough and sometimes the hard steps you ever take are the ones you do on the wings of faith. I hope that you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers everyday and that I love you and the kids dearly.
