The People
We Love Live On
In Our Hearts
It takes a long time
to get used to
the loss of someone we love.
But it's important
to remember
that when people die,
they leave
something very special behind--
They leave us memories
of many things
they said and did.
And as long as we have
those memories,
the people we love
will live on
in our hearts and minds.

Dear Terri and Dino,
Although I only met your mom once I feel as if I knew her through Dino sharing his memories. I know from that both he and Terri truly loved and cared for her. Although you've lost your mom, she is no longer suffering and her spirit will be with you always.

Dear Terry,
Please accept my sincere condolences upon your mother-in-law Alda's passing. I also lost my mother-in-law this time of the year and because it was around Christmas I felt it was "meant" to be due to her ever constant love, caring and giving to her family and grandchildren. This is the TRUE meaning of Christmas! Even though it was a very sad time, I always think of her and a warm feeling always comes over me. I'm sure this same feeling will follow you and your husband as the years pass. God Bless!
Sincerely,
Tom Cristino

Dino and Terry,
I once heard a wise priest say that "any one who is called to God during Christmas week is truly blessed"....
I believe that Mom was special in the eyes of God as he chose the most holy time of the year to call her home.
Although you sincerely hurt from her loss remember the words of that wise old priest and let this be a blessing for your holiday and think of Mom as a special person in heaven for the celebration of the birth of Christ
All my Love
Maria

Although Bob and I live in Florida,we had kept in touch with Alda whenever we visited Terri and Dino. One of my fond memories was during Terri and Dino's wedding. The couple decided to have each mother lite the candle, however they neglected to tell Alda and me .Imagine our surprise when the priest asked the mothers of the Bride and Groom to approach the altar. I went over to Alda and took her hand. She whispered to me that she could't do it . I replied " I'm nervous too, Alda so we'll do it together and remember we don't want to burn down the church. So we walked together to the altar and each lit the candles. Later we laughed about it and we were proud that our children wanted their mothers to be a part of their wedding. Alda and I could sit and talk about Atlantic City and never become bored. She was a friend and I will miss her cheery smile and telling me about her family .
