Obituary of Edward M. Kane

Kane, Edward M. Jr , 77, of West Deptford, NJ on Nov. 20, 2003. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Kane served as an Army Supply Sergeant during World War II. He retired in l987 With 42 years of service with Conrail where he worked at 32nd and Market Sts. Philadelphia. Mr. Kane was an Auditor. He enjoyed coaching soccer for W. Deptford Twp when his children were young and collecting train memorabilia. For many years, he Ushered for St. Patrick R. C. Church in Woodbury at the 4:30 PM Saturday Mass. For Fifteen years Ed enjoyed volunteering for Underwood Memorial Hospital of Woodbury, NJ until his illness prevented him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Bernadine I. Nee Cavanaugh, his loving children, Eileen of Mantua and Dennis and his wife Helene of West Deptford. a sister, Margaret Reilly of Florida.
