To Charlie, Bobby, Ronnie, Steve, Alice,
I am sorry to hear about the death of your father and am also sorry that I didn't get an opportunity to express my condolences regarding the death of your mother on a more timely basis. I have been traveling quite a lot during the last ten years and often find about about the deaths of people who were important in my life long after the fact. I would have certainly attended both funerals had it been possible.
I would like to say that I remember a lot about our childhood and teenage years with a great deal of fondness, including you and your parents. I am sorry about your loss and hope that all of you are doing as well as possible. Please feel free to contact me and I hope to see you again.
