I was shocked to hear of Dino's passing when I picked up the Palmer alumni news. I was a classmate of Dino's and we spent many classes together as well as social time with other classmates. I will always remember Dino as a great guy always with a smile on his face. Anyone that met him knows that he touched so many lives just by his personality and his smile. My thoughts go out to his wife and children. With good memories, so comes strength to deal with hard times. God Bless you all.

Dino was a dear friend classmate and colleague. We shared many laughs at Palmer College and always enjoyed his smile and stories of the east coast. When I first met Dino in Davenport, IA I could hardly understand him due to his accent. It was funny. I also remember him asking about how the farmers in Iowa planted their crops in such straight rows. We told him that they had row straighteners to pull the rows straight if the wind blew them crooked or if the farmer did not plant them straight. He believed it for a short while. Then we told him the truth.
I will miss you Dino.
God Bless his family.

Debra & Children,
In the spring of 1992, I had the pleasure of meeting Dino along with 7 other guys to begin the stressful process of pledging Delta Sigma Chi, a professional fraternity at Palmer College. At the end only 5 of us remained, but we were bonded together in a rewarding way that can only be explained as brothers. Having said that, I feel an incredible sense of loss at his passing and in not having seen him in 10 years. I have to honestly say that in all the time I knew Dino, all of my memories of him bring a smile to my face. As you surely know, Dino was one of those special people who, once he lights up your life, he never leaves it in darkness. Be assured, you and your children will always be in my prayers.
I'll miss you Dino,

It is several months later and I just recieved the devastating news. I'm still in disbelief. Dino and I were room mates in our first year at Palmer. We always had a good time. Being a fellow Italian from New York, I did my best to cook tomato sauce the way his mom made it. He always said that he would never eat sauce unless his mom made it. After getting the recipe from her we tried it in Iowa. Dino was finally able to eat his pasta away from home. Although we lost touch since graduation I will always remember Dino as a shy good natured guy who loved his family.
May peace be with you and your family

Dino went to TR South, I went to Lakewood and our high schools played football every Thanksgiving. We grew up so close to each other and we would always laugh about meeting each other 1500 miles away from home.
I will remember that we missed the Jersey Shore and pizza so much we would drive through the night to get home during breaks.
Dino was a classmate, roommate and a friend.
He will not be forgotten.

We went through Chiropractic school together and sat in many classes together. We were fraternity brothers and close friends. I still remember laughing together, so hard we cried. The last time we spent together was about a year after graduation. We went to an Orioles game and had a great time in Camden yards, thanks to tickets Dino got. It's the only time I've been there and for now on, it'll always be the place Dino took me. We lost touch since then, but if I saw him again it would be like we never lost each other's phone number. I know we'd laugh just as hard as we always did. I miss you buddy. I hope one day we'll see each other and laugh again.
God bless you and your family.

Words cannot express how shocked & saddened I am by Dino's passing. Just last year I moved to FL, and before I left, I shared conversations about Dino with some of the gang from TRHSS. Every word spoken about him brought joy and laughter to all of us! I graduated HS with Dino, and always felt very fortunate to have been a friend of his.
Dino will always be remembered as one of the kindest, most sincere people I've ever known. All of us who knew him are forever blessed with wonderful memories of him.
My sincerest symapthies to his wife, children, family & friends....

Debbie - We remember how nervous Dino was the first time he came to meet us and, again, when he asked your Dad for permission to marry you. We will always think of him as our "son" and are grateful for the time we had with him - even though it was much shorter than we would have wanted. We are thankful for the love you shared and the life you created together - especially Carli and Christopher. Dino will always be with us in spirit and through your children. We love all of you.

Dear Debra and children,
Unfortunately, I did not know Dino personally, however I knew of him through my cousin Chris who asked me to pray for him several months ago. She told me how young he was and that he was married and had two beautiful children.
I visit a Shrine dedicated to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in the Germantown section of Philadelphia each and every monday. When told about Dino's illness, I placed his name in the hands of a statue of Our Lady and asked if she would take care of Dino. I have placed many names of seriously ill people in her hands and I know the ones that are not blessed with a cure or a healing are no less blessed or forgotten. If Dino could speak to us now I am sure he would confirm that he was blessed in such a way that only those that are called by the one who created us will see how good Our God truly is.
I continue to pray not only for Dino but also the family he left behind, so that someday you will all be reunited in that special place God has put Dino, so that he can make it as perfect as he can for those he loved so much.
May God's peace be with you all.

We met the Petros when we bought our first house on Bond Ave. in Drexel Hill, Pa. That was in 1972. Our daughter, Michelle played with Debbie and Bobby when they were little. And Carole and Ed are the best people that we have known. I miss those days. I never met Dino, but Carole and I would send letters at Christmas and share our family business with each other. And I feel like I knew Dino when Carole would talk about him. Dino sounded like a terrific person. And a good husband and father. I wish I could have met him. We are so sorry about the loss of Dino. Our prayers are with the entire family. God bless all of you, especially Debbie and her children.

My family and I having met Dino for only a relative instant of greeting and farewell, we did not get to know him in a way that a long life would have allowed. Looking forward to spending many more good times together with he, my cousin Debbie and their growing family we only wish now that we had had the chance to know him better. A good, caring and honest man, all of us with the privilege of having known Dino will sincerely miss him. His life - and memory - will be a great source of pride to his young children Carli and Christopher for all the rest of their days.
To Debbie, there is a feeling in the hearts of all your family who love you which none of us can truly express. But know that it is warm and sympathetic and hopeful of your sorrow passing like the hush of deepest night into an endless, bright morning.

Dear Family and friends of Dino,
I can't begin to tell you how upset and shocked I am over Dino's passing. Dino was my best friend through high school. We stayed extemely close while he went to Rutgers, and I remember seeing him off when he left for Iowa to study Chiropractic. The many miles between Iowa and New Jersey caused us to lose touch a bit, but I still considered him one of my very best friends.
Thankfully we got back in touch more when he came back from Chiropractic school. I remember being so happy that he was back.
Dino was a great guy. I'm going to miss him terribly. All of the great memories I have of he and I have been coming back to me and its really helped me get through the last couple of days. I wish we had kept in touch more over the last couple of years, but I'm really thankful to have those great memories of him. He'll be in my thoughts forever, love always Johnnie.
