This is a special thank you to all that felt the need to share in our time of sorrow. Our mother is gone in body, but never gone in spirit. She not only lives in all of her children and grandchildren. She lives in the lives of every child in the state of New Jersey. She fought for their rights and laws to help them be better people. My mother always said that she could tolerate a child longer than some adults smile.
Her love, her smile and her generosity will live on in all that we do. Pray that the fight that she started we will continue in her name. And in your life and your children's lives remember what she stood for - education is everything and no one can take that away from you. God bless.

I had two opportunities to meet the Matyr of your family, once as she was traveling through the Eastern Shore of Virgia, and came into the same resturant Bea and I were celebrating Mother's Day. This visit wasn't planned. She could find her children from State to State, and knew she didn't need a invitation. The second time I was blessed with her presence was at her grandson's Derrik's College graduation. Your mother broasted with pride and had every right to, about the educational efforts and achievements of her children despite societal and economic disadvantages. As I listened to your love one share of her struggles and acheivements, I couldn't help but
think that she would have been a great keynote speaker that day.
She never complained of the hard work, was less specific of the difficulies, however elaborated on the God given abilities that paved the way for her family acheivements and accomplishments.
A trait so evident in you Bea.
The pride exhibited in her face, and the upright appearance of her chest said it all.
She truly love you all and for that you are all blessed. Living up to her legacy of love, family, faith, hardwork, trust, family unity could be a hard but worthy task.
However,we pray your spirutual connection always will remind you of her gift to you each other.
Bea and Darrell,You know we were not able to be with you today, but we shared your grief and await your return home.
Your mother's gift of you to my family is priceless and we pray to be worthy of her gift.
God loves you all and so do we.
Always remember God will never give you any more than you can handle in Jesus name.
In sorrow,prayers,love
The Webb family

The children of Shady Lane Elementary School will miss the way she was so helpful, caring, and loving during all those book fairs!! Even through all her medical problems she still gave 110% to the children. I will miss her laugh. What a great lady!
My heartfelt sympathy to the family.

To Bennie's family,
I was fortunate enought to have met Bennie through our local PTA. As a past president of Harrison Township PTA, Bennie taught me alot about the organization and was always there to answer questions and be of help. She always had an answer to a problem and if she didn't she would seek out the answer.
The children of NJ were all so blessed to have had BEnnie Heath on their side.
God be with you all at this time. He is certainly smiling down on you with Bennie at his side.
She will be sorely missed in this world as she spread so much love.
Sincerely,
Colleen Barlage

Our condolences to comfort you during this time of grief-To the children:
She was the most important person in your life. She brought you into this world, cared for you, and helped you to become the person you are now. She taught you, through her love, how to raise a family of your own. What a gift! The capacity to love and be loved...a gift that is passed on to her children and generations beyond. So many precious memories. May God's love and the love of your family and friends comfort you. She was a blessing to all who knew her. I will miss her, too.
