Obituary of William Ball

Ball, William of Woodbury, formerly of Philadelphia on March 30, 2003. Age 79 years. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mr. Ball lived in Woodbury for more than 50 years. He served in the Army during World War II where he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the European, African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 7 Bronze Stars. He was one of the original partners in Daniel Ball & Associates Accounting Firm and later was the Controller for the Atlantic City Expressway until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of American Legion Post 100 and Woodbury Country club for more than 50 years and in his spare time, Mr. Ball enjoyed Golfing, playing Bridge, bowling, shooting pool and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a caring, fun loving man who loved his family very much. He is the beloved husband for 57 years of Helena nee O?Neill. Devoted father of William J, James J., Thomas J and Michael F. Ball. Brother of Emily Allman. Grandfather of 6. Great grandfather of 1.
