My deepest sympathies for the entire Brown family. I met Carol about 10 yrs. ago at Underwood Memorial Hospital in the billing dept. when she was helping us catch up on our filing. I sat next to her and enjoyed every moment working with her. She was truly one of the sweetest, caring, and happiest person I had ever met! As time went on Carol was working right across from me in the Admissions dept. and every day she was always upbeat about life, her devotion for her family, and her enjoyment in telling me about her grandchildren. The stories she would tell me about her grandson Shane, made me laugh. I will remember her cooking, she would bring in her delicious pretzels and her famous candy. She would never forget me on my birthday and xmas, with her precious little gifts. I truly will miss her smiling face and extraordinary personality! May she rest in peace from all her pain and suffering.

I never knew Mrs. Brown but I knew she was loved. Everytime I went over Brittany's house, I would hear great and funny stories that the family would tell about her. This past week has been so hard and sad for the family. My heart and soul goes out to the family. She is in heaven now, looking down on the family and missing you so much. Mrs. Carol Ann Brown is in a better place now but she will always be your angel. Life won't be the same without her. Even though its sad to see her go, she is away from the pain.

I met Carol in 1982 when I began dating her son Eddie. I became a member of her family in 1988 when we were married. She was always a wonderful mother-in-law to me. She was always there for us whenever we needed her. She was always happy to host a number of holiday dinners for us especially Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. She was a wonderful cook. When she became ill she kept going. She is the strongest woman that I ever met, never letting her horrible disease get her down. She loved her grandchildren so much and they loved her as you can see in this guest book. We will always love her and miss her. Thanks to everyone who signed this book. It brings much joy to our hearts to see that she was loved by many.
We love you mom-mom. Rest in peace.
Your daughter-in- law

Carol was blessed with not only her own children and husband, but with her parents, brothers and sisters. Carol was beautiful both inside and out. She always had time for you no matter how busy she was. One of my fondest memories was our pinochle games. it was my pleasure to be a part of this wonderful family.

My deepest sympathies for the Brown family. I play on Chris' football team and I really don't even know Chris, and have never met her mom, but judging by everyone's comments, I know that she was an awesome woman who was very brave and courageous. I too have recently suffered a lost, and I just want to extend some words of encouragement to the family....remember all of the good times that you had with Carol and realize that she's in no more pain, she's at home with her maker resting in peace, free of pain! Keep her memories close to your hearts, and when some days become more difficult than others, just think to yourself, what would Carol do in this situation and that should help get you through. My prayers are with you all, may God Bless and keep you all in His care.

I was fortunate to have met Carol "Kate" Brown through her loving daughter Chris, Carol showed tremendous strength, throughout her couragous battle. She continued to laugh and smile, and spend time endlessly cooking or making the best candy that I ever tasted, despite what she was going through. I enjoyed watching her with her family especially the way she lovingly admired her many grandchildren. Words can not express the sense of loss we all must feel, now that she is gone. She will remain in my heart, the kind loving friendly person she was.
I will miss you "Kate"
Love,
Sharon

My grandmom was the nicest, sweetest person I've ever known. She was also the funniest. But never again I will beable to hear her funny jokes and that laugh until we meet again. Every kid in this world deserves to have a grandmom like her. I was one of few kids that were blessed to have her in my life. I love her and miss her so much. I wish I could of seen her before she went so I could tell her how much I love her. I didnt want her to go,none of us did, but I knew that she would be free of pain and in a better place when she went. I will always remember everything we've ever done together and I hope she does too. Mom-mom, you are my angel and I love you so much.
Love Always and Forever,
Your Loving Grand-daughter,
Brittany

My deepest sympathies go out to Carol Browns' family. I met Carol through her daughter Chris who plays on our football team. Carol was the teams #1 fan. Even though she was sick she never missed one of Chris' games. She even traveled to Florida with us our first year to cheer us on to a victory in our championship game. I had breakfast with Carol and Chris the morning of the game. She was just as excited and nervous as we were. Her spirit will truly be missed in the stands this year but we know she is watching us play and cheering us on. We will dedicate our season to Carol. We will miss you. Rest in Peace.

I only met Carol on a few occassions and that was when she was in the presence of her children and grandchildren at their many celebrations at Mike and Lori's home. Even though we never got to chat for a long periods of time, it was obvious how much she devoted herself to the kids. On the flip side, I am a co-worker of Lori Brown and just from the numerous conversations we had about Carol's illness brought me closer to her as Lori and I share that in common with our parents. Carol was nothing short of a brave, courageous soul who will be sadly missed and I just wanted to share that with her family and say thanks to Carol for showing me what devotion and caring for a family really means. I hope I am as strong facing death as she was. God bless Carol and her family. You are in my family's prayers!! Donna Amoroso, Phila., PA

Mrs. Brown was a kind and caring person, who always looked to the bright side of any situation. Mrs. Brown fought a brave battle. She helped us along in our journey more then she could ever know. She was a beloved neighbor of ours and will always have a place in our hearts. Our thoughts are with the family - Always remember the happy times.

Our Hearthfelt sympathy to Carol's family. I remember Carol as the strength behind her family. Everyone should be fortunate enought to have a grandmother like Carol. What better tribute to her then to have made a difference in the life of a child and, in her case, in the life of her grandchildren. We will miss you. Mary and Charlie Kyser
