Uncle Ferman was a very special person to all of us, and we will miss him terribly. We always looked forward to his visits. For some one who lived so far away, he certainly touched our lives and our hearts so very deeply.

Dear Bert, Paul, Elaine & Family
I remember when Ferman brought his new "Yankee" wife Alberta "Bert" Ziemianski home to Alabama to introduce her to the family and our sister Eugenia had to help me pronounce the name of our new sister-in-law. I am 8 years and 4 months younger than Ferman. He joined the Marines in l939 so I was only 11 years old at the time and very excited.
My memory of my brother is of a strong, quiet and considerate man. During WWII he sent our Mother gifts from overseas that brightened up our home; pillow cases, cushion covers, etc.
Although we will miss him, we are thankful that his suffering is over and when our time comes we will join him again in Heaven. With our love.

The memories are there to remember. I will never forget the fun times throughout the years when Aunt Alberta & Uncle Ferman would be at grandmom Rich's house and Uncle Ferman would sing songs and play the harmonica with Grandpop. He was a very good person and always had kind things to say to about everyone.

I believe a great deal of who I am is due to the man Pop-Pop was. He was strong and silent, yet kind and gentle. He knew what he believed, yet could keep his opinions to himself. Although I remember many occasions where he made his side KNOWN!! He loved his family unconditionally, and gave us the utmost patience. However, odd as it may sound, some of the moments I remember best, were when he'd had it "up to here", and would turn around and say,"Alberta, SHUT UP!" grin He was my Pop-Pop, and I'll love him forever.

Dear Elaine and family,
Nothing can be said to ease the pain of not having that special person who loves you with you forever. Just know that you are in the prayers of others who have lost loved ones to a later time and who know how you feel inside. You are, who you are, because of those who came before you.. they must be wonderful because you are!God will certainly bless them! God bless you always... the Schramms

You all knew Dad. He was a great husband, a terrific father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a wonderful person. We will miss him, but we are happy that he is in a better place.
